Watering a cactus
Cacti consume almost no water and are therefore very easy to care for! They also store water themselves, so you rarely need to water them. The only thing cacti can't tolerate is overwatering, as this can cause the roots to rot. Let the soil dry out completely before watering your cacti again, and don't overwater. Cactuses shouldn't be in wet soil, especially in winter, when they use less water. You can place a cactus in a sunny spot by a window, but also in a slightly darker spot indoors.
