Philodendron care.
The philodendron isn't a difficult plant to care for in the right location. Provide indirect light, sufficient water, and good humidity, and you'll have no trouble growing it. Keep the philodendron's soil slightly moist at all times, especially in summer. Avoid allowing the roots to sit in water, as it doesn't like this. It does appreciate being sprayed occasionally with a plant sprayer. During the growth period (spring and summer), you can give it some extra plant food (universal houseplant food), as this is better for its growth.
Where do I put my plant?
The Philodendron doesn't like direct sunlight. So place it in a spot with plenty of indirect sunlight. Too much sun can lead to drooping leaves or a yellow cast. If this happens to your plant, move it a little further from the window. Too little light can lead to longer stems with fewer and smaller leaves. If this happens to your plant, move it a little closer to the window.
