Peace Lily Care: How to Care for a Spathiphyllum
The plant originates from the Amazon region and is therefore accustomed to room temperatures of at least 14 degrees Celsius. Spathiphyllum needs plenty of water. The soil should always remain slightly moist. Spray regularly to prevent leaves from browning. Feed your Spathiphyllum once a month. A flower should be white. If a flower turns green, cut it off as low as possible. Also cut off leaves that are turning slightly brown. This allows the plant to invest energy in new flowers and fresh foliage. Is your Spathiphyllum outgrowing its pot? Repotting is best done in spring. Preferably, plant your Spathiphyllum in potting soil with coconut fiber. Place your Spathiphyllum in a location with moderate light. A bathroom is ideal for Spathiphyllum: less light and plenty of humidity!
