Lemon plants and care

Lemon plants prefer full sun for fruit development, not very moist soil. So make sure the soil isn't too wet and that the water drains well. If you feel the soil dry a few centimeters below the surface, it's best to water the plant again. Lemon plants also appreciate being sprayed occasionally!

Bringing the lemon plant indoors in winter

Lemon plants and other citrus plants are not winter-hardy. Therefore, we recommend bringing your citrus plants indoors during the winter, at least if frost is expected. Lemon plants can overwinter well there, so they can be moved back outside after the winter. Try to ensure that the temperature change isn't too dramatic. Therefore, it's best to bring the plant indoors a little earlier, when the outside temperature is still close to the indoor temperature. We recommend bringing the plant indoors when the daytime temperature outside is around 15 degrees Celsius.
