Thanks for your question! The moss wall requires no maintenance. We've had a moss wall in our house for about two years now and haven't had any problems with dust.
If so, you can easily blow it off with a small blower (or by hand).

The moss wall (panels) can be placed on any flat surface. If the surface (door) is not flat, it's best to create a moss wall by hand.
